I don't know if this qualifies as a throttle story, but it *could* be if the throttle was modified somehow to accommodate what I do.

Basically it involves:

-5 min timeframe
-3LPB based on 5 min
-Trend with Change in trend transform
-Don't use strategies or signals
-Sort on body color

Now the conventional wisdom is to take the strongest transform; green strong to the right and red strong to the left in opp list. I have found however that these are often very overbought or oversold, respectively.

So what i do is sort by body color and look for green transforms in the BELOW column and red transforms in the ABOVE column. In other words, look to BUY weak stocks turning up and sell strong stocks turning down.

Often I will trade both longs and shorts in a 1:1 ratio.

Seems to give me decent results, however there does not seem to be a way to get the throttle to automatically select trades based on this selection.

Experimenting with Trends with Reversals transform to see if that might give similar results and that may be easier to trade with the throttle.

Yes, I have come across sort by B and take below the Map emerging trade, it's a good way to do it, I think I have see Ed or Angela do this in some of the early videos

David, I think you could do that, but you would need a strategy that provided signals based on short term trends, which is what the Height shows you in the Trend with Change in Trend Transform. Once you had the strategy, then you would still sort on Body color, but you would use signals.

Barry, what you are saying would be optimal. But so far I have not found a strategy that would fire signals corresponding to a short term trend as indicated by a below the line green transform.

I'm thinking it's more of a reversal type signal we'd be going for.

Hey that's not a bad idea. Try sorting by B column but use reversal signals of some kind to confirm the short term change in trend.

Stay tuned.
